Introducing Our Practice Team

Gavin Dalton-Morgan has worked extensively with small animals and equines since graduating from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia.

After working for a number of years in mixed practice in Australia, Gavin began practising in the UK in 1984, eventually establishing an extremely busy small animal practice in Bristol before moving to Devon to become a partner of a mixed practice. Working at Hatchmoor Veterinary Practice gives Gavin the opportunity to focus his interests fully on companion animals and equines.

A keen horse rider, Gavin hunts with the Torrington Farmers Hunt. He is the Polo Welfare Officer for Taunton Vale Polo Club. He also officiates at several Point-to-Point races in the area. After encouraging his children to develop their horse riding skills, Tom, John and Bella are becoming well known for their hunting, pony racing, polo, team chasing and cross country participation.

Fran Adams covers Gavin's small animal and equine work when he has to be away from practice. Fran graduated in 2015, since graduating she has worked in small animal and equine practices in Devon and has also completed an equine internship in the Cotswolds. When not working she enjoys socialising with friends, walking her dog and doing house renovations.

Kathy Ward is a an experienced veterinary surgeon who has worked exclusively in opththalmology (eyes) for many years. She is a highly skilled ophthalmologist and deals with our eye referral cases.
